Our Story
Burrum Landscape Supplies has been part of the Howard community for over 12 years — started by locals who knew the region and built something the Fraser Coast could rely on. In September 2024, Owen and Murph took the reins, bringing fresh energy and a clear focus on doing things right.
Owen had spent his career in the landscape supplies industry and knew exactly what a good yard looked like. Murph brought something different: years building and running a successful high-end fashion retail business, with a sharp eye for customer experience and the operational detail that makes a business actually work.
Between them, they covered every angle. Owen knows product, suppliers, and the physical side of the yard inside out. Murph made sure the rest of the operation matched — the service, the systems, and the standard.

The People Behind the Yard
Owen — The One Who Actually Knows Everything
Owen has spent over 18 years in landscape supplies — sourcing product, driving, and working the yard from the ground up. He started as the first driver at his previous yard and was still there more than a decade later. There isn't much in this industry he hasn't seen, loaded, or sourced.
His superpower? Backing a truck into any space, no matter how tight. If you've got a tricky access, he's your guy. More importantly, when you ask Owen a question about product — what to use, how much you need, what'll actually work for your soil — you get a real answer built on real experience. From dealing with tradies to DIYers, he is a wealth of knowledge for any project.
Murph — The One Who Makes It All Work
Murph's background isn't what you'd expect for a landscape yard. She built a high-end women's fashion boutique into a highly successful niche business — handling everything from buying trips to Paris to all the creative and behind-the-scenes work that most people never see. She knows how to run a business, look after customers, and sweat the details.
These days, she'll tell you she's genuinely happiest with dirt under her fingernails and a stack of rocks in front of her. The yard suits her just fine.
