Road Base 2.3 — The Go-To Driveway and Shed Foundation

Road Base 2.3 is a graded blend of crushed rock and fines that compacts down firm and stable — the standard base material for residential driveways, shed floors, hardstands, and compacted pathways right across the Fraser Coast.

The 2.3 grade is the most common spec for residential use. Compact in 100mm lifts with a plate compactor or vibrating roller. For a standard residential driveway (12m x 3m x 100mm deep), you'll need approximately 4.3 cubic metres — use our volume calculator to dial in your quantities.

• Uses: Driveways, shed slabs, hardstands, compacted paths, vehicle crossovers
• Coverage: 1m³ covers approx. 10m² at 100mm depth
• Pickup: Howard yard — bring a suitable trailer or ute
• Delivery: Fraser Coast-wide. Zones 1–13, FUSO and EAGLE trucks available.
