Medium Bark is the go-to for garden beds that need to look good and perform well. The bark pieces are consistent in size — larger than a fine mulch, smaller than coarse woodchip — which gives it good ground coverage without looking rough or untidy.

What it's good for:

How it performs:

Medium Bark holds moisture well through Queensland's dry periods, and the size of the pieces means it stays put in wind and rain better than finer mulches. It breaks down over time, adding organic matter back into the soil — slower than fine mulches, faster than woodchip. Most garden beds benefit from a top-up every 12–18 months.

Coverage guide:

1m³ covers approximately 8m² at 100mm depth (recommended), or 16m² at 50mm depth.
